Top 5 star hotel with over 200 rooms in Hertfordshire requires a Special Events Manager with at least 18 months previous sales, events or weddings management experience in 4*5 star hotels. The events department has teams that manage different aspects of each event. You will be part of the team which takes initial enquiries and converts them into bookings for private dinings and weddings. Your aim is to sell the banqueting * events facilities of the hotel in a professional manner and efficiently manage events using excellent skills, whilst ensuring maximum occupancy and maximum profitability from all events that take place. This weddings focused role requires motivation, confidence, excellent organisational skills and event management ability.
