Perl Programmer (Virus Lab) - Superb working environment & benefits
Perl Developer with good knowledge of Perl (including Object Oriented, SOAP, DBI) and 2-5 years hands on experience in a Systems Developer role within a corporate network environment, required for leading security software company in Oxfordshire . You must have an in-depth understanding of Unix*Linux systems, Windows systems, network topologies, TCP*IP, and web protocols, and should enjoy solving complex technical problems. You should also have skills in SQL and HTML. Familiarity with C*C++, PHP, Python would be beneficial. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of computer systems within the Virus Laboratory. This will involve working closely with Virus Analysts, Software Engineers and the IT department. You will need strong communication skills and be able to interact and cultivate relationships with internal and external customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction. You must also be able to prepare written material that is well structured, understandable and pertinent.
