Our client, one of the leading independent corporate agencies in the UK currently have an opening at their Hull office for a Business Travel Consultant. Suitable candidates would ideally have previous experience of business travel, making reservations for air, hotel, car hire and rail. You should be Sabre trained although the client would be prepared to cross train from another CRS. Experience of using Elgar and also ticketing experience would be an advantage. Ideally you should have BA Fares and Ticketing 1 and 2 but this is not essential. Excellent customer services skills are essential for the role. Our client is prepared to consider candidates who have gained travel experience on the retail * leisure side of travel and are looking for that first foot in the door into a Buiness Travel environment. An excellent and rare opportunity to get into Business Travel!!
You will be working in a busy team based environment, dealing with a wide variety of corporate accounts. It is a varied role where you will be booking scheduled flights, low cost airlines, cars, hotels, rail and also ordering currency.
